Before that, i m actually choosing the Tamron 17-50, but when i asked the shop, is there any second hand Tamron, she said there is a Sigma 17-50. Its overall performance is much more better than Tamron, and i like it very much, yet the only shortage it has is, the expensive price. Since there is a second hand Sigma, then i no need to consider or think about the Tamron.
Tamron (RM1,200 updated street price)
Sigma (RM2,800 new released price ->RM2,100 updated street price ->RM1,500 second hand price ->RM700 after trade in my kit lens)
The impression it gives me is,
a) Very fast focusing.
b) Sharp, but not so sharp after zoom it, i don't know why.
c) Strong 抗光能力 (sorry, don't know what it called in English).
d) poor performance in white balance, but should be alright for RAW file user.
-Opposite zoom ring in zooming for Nikon user.
I dint buy any filter, so should i buy it? A T* Coating Carl Zeiss? Rm200++, lol
Last thing in APSC will be a flash, perhaps =)
